Frequently asked questions
Our pitches are 7m by 7m. We do have one pitch which is considerably larger than this, this is available on request.
Some pitches allow for the car to be drawn up beside the tent, other pitches we ask guests to park in our car park, free of charge.
Visitors are welcome to use their own free standing barbecues, these must be raised off the grass. Please note that wood fires, fire pits and Chinese lanterns are not permitted. We have our own fire pits and logs that can be brought when you book online or at site.
Online bookings can be taken one pitch at a time, for up to six people per pitch. You can choose your pitch at the time of booking, using our interactive map*. If you have any specific requests, please drop us a message and we will endeavour to accommodate.
*The campsite hosts reserve the right to move your pitch if required.

Had a brilliant weekend at the River Wye Campsite, after a half day of canoeing from Glasbury to Hay-on-Wye. Staff members were very knowledgeable on the health and safety when on the river, as well as being helpful when getting us all kitted up with our paddles/dry bags etc. Highly recommend.
Great place and well organised to be fit for covid lockdown. Facilities are all really clean and well looked after, the cafe has great drinks and ice cream. The grounds are lovely, green and quiet. The access to the river is good and their hire facilities seemed really good too.
