Terms and Conditions
CHECK-IN
- Check in time is after 2.00 pm. Please check in at our onsite Café upon arrival, your booking reference number will be required – this can be found on your confirmation email.
- Please bring valid ID to check in
- Check out – your pitch to be vacated by 11.00 am on day of departure, unless previously confirmed by email with us.
BOOKING & CANCELLATIONS
- Reservations are required for all campsite bookings.
- Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours in advance for a refund. Deposits are non refundable
- A valid ID is required upon check-in.
- We require a 20% deposit at the time of booking, this deposit is non-refundable under any circumstances.
- Full payment is due on arrival if not already paid at the time of booking.
- Payment must be made in full by the first person of the group to arrive, it is therefore advisable that this is arranged within the group and payment organised.
- If you have paid in full at the time of booking but need to cancel, we will refund 80% of the booking fee minus a £5 admin charge
INSURANCE
- In your own interest you are strongly recommended to take out adequate insurance cover against personal accident or injury, loss and damage of personal property and equipment, and any cancellations.
FIRES/BBQ’S
- Campfires are allowed only in designated fire pits. Always fully extinguish fires before leaving.
- Hot ashes must be disposed of in the provided metal bins. Do not dump ashes on the ground or in regular trash bins.
- Gas-powered stoves are permitted; open flames or BBQs outside designated areas are prohibited.
- We allow campfires in fire pits and BBQ’s that are off the ground only. Anybody found scorching the ground from fires will be liable for a £100 fine
- We hire out fire pits and require a £20 cash deposit on check out when the fire pit is returned your cash deposit will be refunded.
- Firewood and kindling can also be purchased. Please do not attempt to burn excessively large logs found around the site or down the river.
- In the event of an extreme dry spell the management reserve the right to withdraw any permission to use firepits/coal BBQ’s
CHILDREN
- Children must be always supervised on site.
- Parents/guardians are responsible for the safety of children in their care at all times whilst on site, particularly in preventing access to the river, on the roads and play equipment.
- Bikes, scooters and skateboards are allowed on site, but we ask you to keep your speed down to walking pace on the site and to be aware of uneven surfaces and passing vehicles.
DOGS
- Dogs are to be always kept on leads and under control.
- Please pick up your dog excrement and dispose of it in the correct bin.
NOISE
- We have a strict NO NOISE POLICY, for the sake of other campers and the neighbouring villagers.
- Keep Noise levels to a minimum between 10pm and 7am
- We will not tolerate unacceptable levels of noise that disturbs others. In the event of any unacceptable behaviour, we reserve the right to ask you to leave the park.
RUBBISH & RECYCLING
- Please note the recycling area for the campers is located at the side of the main building. We ask everyone to ensure that your rubbish is correctly segregated into the correct bins. If you are unsure about which bins to use or need any additional bin bags, please contact reception.
- Please leave your pitch clean and tidy and ensure all your rubbish is cleared away.
ALCOHOL AND DRUGS
- Alcohol is allowed on site in moderation. Drunken or disruptive behaviour will result in expulsion.
- Illegal drugs are strictly prohibited.
SAFETY & EMERGENCY PROCEDURES
- In case of emergency, dial the local emergency number (provide the number).
- Know the location of first aid kits and emergency exits.
SHOWERS
- To maintain high standards, the shower and toilet blocks are cleaned daily. They may be closed during cleaning.
- Floors may be slippery, so please take care.
- Children not to be left unattended in the shower block.
GENERAL CONDUCT
- Respect the environment and fellow campers.
- Keep noise levels to a minimum, especially during quiet hours (e.g., 9 PM – 7 AM).
- If your music or noise can be heard from the pitch next door, it’s too loud.
- Dispose of waste properly in designated areas.
- Recycling bins are available—please use them for paper, plastics, and cans.
- Pets must be kept on a leash and cleaned up after.
- If you leave your children unattended we will give them Redbull and teach them bad language
- We cannot accept caravans.
- Should you make a mistake and book the wrong campsite, please note no refunds are given, we will however transfer the date for you to stay another time.
- Pitches are 7m x 7m, please keep within this area.
- We don’t currently offer this Electric car charging. Our Electric Hook Up points are not designed for this purpose and must not be used to charge vehicles
LIABILITY & RESPONSIBILITY
The campsite is not responsible for any lost, stolen, or damaged property.
Campers are responsible for their own safety and that of their children and pets.
In the grounds of The River Wye Campsite there are trees, stone walls and designated fire areas. If you choose to use these, you are doing so at your own risk as we do not accept liability for death, accident or injury so please access your own risk prior to use.
