Our camping ground is the ideal place to launch onto the river Wye for a canoe or kayak trip.
One of the big advantages for using us is because we have ample free parking, and therefore there is no need to battle for parking spaces at the Scout Hut by the bridge in Glasbury, which gets full by 8am in the summer months! Furthermore, we have a cafe on site to pick up refreshments before you set off, as well as showers and toilets for all customers.

Routes
Our most popular routes are a half day trip between Glasbury to Hay on Wye, or a full day trip from Glasbuy to Whitney on Wye because they are affordable and easily managed by any level of canoeist. Hay on Wye is a great place to stop for lunch or a quick liquid refreshments in one of it’s many pubs!

Half day (Up to 5.5 miles or less) : £30 per person
Full day (Over 5.5 miles) : £40 per person
Instructor: £200 per day, up to 12 people. Minimum group size of 6 people.
Kids 13 years old and under are half price, 14 and older are full price (children must be over 5yrs and 25Kg in weight to be able to go on the river in good conditions).
